Stories of Dreams yet to come true…

“Will we be able to continue our studies, will we be able to go to college?” These are the common worries among older adolescents as there are high chances of reverse migration of families along with their children. This has created a very uncertain situation and they are really concerned about it. Children feel that their families may return to their native villages, which means they will have to leave their school, their contact points and their dreams. These children (especially in secondary and senior secondary levels) have worked very hard in school and were planning to join universities, or a professional course to secure a better future for themselves and their families. However, the unpredictable future is worrying them a lot, “a big question mark on their future” as one child put it.
